One of the main differences about this product is that we use a non-nano sun blocking agent and NO chemicals. This is important because most natural companies use a cheap, nano particle agent called titanium dioxide. All though it is a “natural” ingredient, titanium dioxide is transdermally absorbed. This means that is directly absorbed through our skin and directly into your blood stream. It builds up in our bodies and can cause issues because our bodies can’t process it. (Titanium dioxide is found in many “natural” makeup products.)
We created a truly safe, reef safe, and clean option with a NON-nano blocking agent. The oils in our cream also provide natural protection and nutrients too. We recommend that you enjoy the sun without sunblock as much as possible! But when your need it we hope you’ll use ours!
Tip:Our bodies need the benefits from the sun so we do not want to block it unless we are outside for a long time or in extreeme heat/elevation locations. Recommended sun exposure for young children is 60 to 120 minutes at a time even with natural sunscreen.
